I have wheel-thrown these rustic yet elegant beakers using a warm grey Clay and glazed using Nordic Blue glaze. The result is a white with beautiful blue hues. They hold roughly 250ml/ 2.5 dl/ 1cup and are perfect for coffee, tea, or water.

As legend goes, in the early days of Oriental pottery, the potters were not permitted to sign their work as it was considered disrespectful to the emperor. Instead, they left their fingerprints at the bottom of their pottery while glazing.
Inspired by this tradition, I have chosen to use fingerprints as a unique signature on these cups. This method not only pays homage to the rich history of pottery but also adds a personal touch to each piece.
Fingerprints are a distinctive and unchangeable part of our identity, symbolizing the individuality and craftsmanship behind each creation. I’m creating a direct connection between myself and the piece by leaving my fingerprints on my pottery. This connection extends to you as well, and I hope each piece will bring joy and positive energy to those who use it. This series is called CONNECTION.

-Clay is a natural material; natural variations such as small speckles and slight irregularities in the finished product can occur. This is the beauty of small-scale craft and not a blemish.
