I have wheel-thrown these elegant, ultra-light beakers using Sandy White clay and glazed them in a timeless matt black glaze. They hold roughly 2.5 dl and are perfect for coffee, tea, or water.

Stoneware is fired to a high temperature of 1,250°C and is, therefore, hardier than lower-fired earthenware. It doesn't chip easily and the products I make are dishwasher and microwave-safe. I've chosen to work with glazes that have earthy tones that enhance the clay's natural beauty. All of the glazes I use are non-toxic after firing and suited for everyday use.
As with all natural materials and small-scale craftsmanship, the finished product may have subtle variations and nuances. This is a somewhat natural occurrence and adds to the charm and uniqueness of each piece.
